In 2001, as a registered disabled person, I was elected as Deputy Chair of the Labour Party Disabled Members Group (LPDMG), and helped in gaining its status as a Labour affiliated socialist society. As part of a restructuring of the communication process, I set up and maintained a website at www.labourbility.com . The website is no longer functional.

I also began important work in establishing principles of disability access for Labour party websites in particular and websites in general. An important contemporaneous exchange of emails on this subject is shown here
